So this is it. It'll be France versus Italy in the World Cup final. Show me anyone who claims to have seen this coming before the tournament started and I'll show you a liar. In fact, nobody could have predicted this even after the group stages.

- Italy has reached the World Cup final in exactly every 12 years since 1970: 1970, 1982, 1994 and 2006. They won in 1982, so if this is a trend they'll win again this year.
